Instead of reproducing the “same old teaching tools” digitally, Communication Apptitude is working to put the right tools into the hands of educators, specialists and parents to help children critically think while improving language skills. Our tools are sophisticated, research-backed and highly motivating for students.
Beth Lawrence is a certified speech-language pathologist who received her Master of Arts from Northwestern University in 1994. She has had an exciting career as an SLP, working with children of all ages, as well as adults and geriatrics.
Since 2000, she has run a private pediatric practice, Lawrence Speech Pathology Services, in Baltimore. She assesses and works with students with language-based learning differences and articulation difficulties. Beth enjoys leading workshops on a variety of topics including social-pragmatics, vocabulary acquisition, reading comprehension, memory strategies and writing. She is constantly learning from her students, in fact, two of her students were the muses for InferCabulary and WordQuations. Thanks, Peninah and Charlie!
